I used to buy tis drink for Aunt Irene from a small coffeeshop in tampines b4 going for my part-time job in century square years ago. Tis is a killer drink loved by young & old, especially on a super hot day.
Our family cooks tis very often & normally wat i would do is leave it in the fridge overnite with plenty of ice-cubes. Dad loves it too & he will be the one to finishes up everything always.
Ingredients;
1 honey pineapple
500ml water
Sugar to taste
Ice-cubes
Method;
-Remove skin & core from pineapple, cut into wedge followed by slices.
-Bring water to boil, add pineapple slices.
-Boil for about 10-15 mins, scoop away foam as & when required.
-Add sugar accordingly to personal preferences.
-Let cool, serve with ice-cubes.
-Enjoy!
