Healthy Tips on Soya Bean

Hi Frens,

All of us know that soya bean drink provides good protein to our body... but many of us don't know that there are certain days we should avoid drinking it.

Soya bean drinks are best consume on hot sunny days when the sun is strong. The soya milk will give lots of nutrients to the body as the body is able to absorb the protein well.
However, avoid the drink when the weather is cloudy or raining. Taking the drink in these weather, the body will not be able to take in the protein and will result in a disease called 'GOUT' or 'high acidic urine' due to the high protein residue in the body, after a long run.

This disease will cause pain to your knee joints and it will only be in control when you control your food intake of proteins and medication.

The pain is unbearable and usually you will have no idea what you have taken to cause the pain.
Food like soya beans, ikan bilis, broccoli, spinach, peanuts, animal organs ( i.e. pork liver) etc will have to be avoided to prevent the pain from attacking.

So my dear frens, kindly inform your family, relatives and frens to keep an alert on the pros and cons of soya bean milk and when it is best to be taken and avoid.

Remember ya!

Giant Meat Pau

Hi There,
What a surprise i had when my dad brought home such a giant meat pau. Its indeed bigger than my face.
In order to be able to see the difference, i place a normal char siew pau next to it.

Sooooooo big rite? Its 4 times the size of a big pau. The fillings is juicy & tender, plus the texture of the pau skin is soft & springy. Yum Yum, its best to go with a cup of tea.

My mum had to divide it into 4 portions for 4 of us to finish it.Can u imagine how bloated it would be if 1 person alone ate it up? Scary!

This giant pau is considered cheap, onli $2.40 for this whole thing. My dad's fren bought it from a coffeeshop in bedok.

Office's Lunchtime

Wat's for lunch?Hmm...tt's a tough question. Well, this is my all time favourite western food stall at the canteen near my office. They have a wide selection of food.

Other than these few that comes with rice, they oso have the normal kind of western food that other stalls serve. Eg; Fish & Chips,Lamb Chop, Steak,Chicken Chop/Cutlet etc....

They oso sells hongkong breakfast like macroni soup, french toast, scrambled egg sandwich etc....

The stall owner is from hongkong, having lived in singapore for few years. Sometimes they do delivery to my office as well.Just like life in hongkong, can always order takeaways food.

Forever Living Saturday

Hi All,
We meet again. Yesterday i went to Chinatown to have my lunch with Grace. As she is not familiar with chinatown, i brought her to my favourite dining place in chinatown- Tiong Bahru Hainanese Chicken Rice!

Every plate of chicken rice comes with a lotus root soup. The rice is very tasty, isn't too dry or too soggy. The boneless chicken is tender & smooth. Its goes well with their specially formulated grind ginger & chill. Hmmm.....yummy yummy.

Another dish tt's die die muz eat when u visit this place is the Crispy Tofu. Its crispy on the outside, soft & smooth in the inside. It will juz melt in ur mouth. Its top with a oyster sauce, fried garlic and shallots, garnish with sliced chill and spring onions. At the side will be a special blended spicy chill sauce.

For those who dare not take spicy food, better go without the chill sauce. Some how or rather, i couldn't take it. :P

After lunch, we shopped around for a while & proceed to FOREVER LIVING HQ at clark quay to get some products.

I love the Aloe Propolis Cream. Its thick, creamy blend of stablized aloe vera gel & bee propolis. Other than moisturize and condition my skin, it oso helps to maintain a healthy skin tone & texture.

Normally, other than using on the face, i would use it on my feet as well. Especially for ladies who loves to wear hogh heels & new shoes tends to "bite" the feet, leaving behind ugly scars that simply won't heal for long time, Aloe Propolis Cream is the best product ever.

The Aloe Heat Lotion is a great product as well. After a long day of work or walk, use it to massage tiring areas especially the neck, back & feet. It soothes away stress & stains. Been walking alot yesterday. Immediately after i had my shower, i used Aloe Heat Lotion to massage my feet. Hmm....so enjoy! I'm all ready for the next walk. haha...

So guys & gals whoever interested to know more about FOREVER LIVING products, do email me at ekina_104@yahoo.com ya! Tks

It comes in a nicely painted metal box, a cardboard case over it & den place in a paper bag that fits exactly the box'z size.

See the inside is so neatly organised. Each & every cookie is individually wrapped. There 's oso a catologue placed inside the box, stating each & every cookies's flavour.
Too bad everything is in jap. Hahaha.... So we juz eat whatever we think might taste nice.
Its actually not too bad, but normally japanese cookies tends to be sweeter & milky.

Dinner at Mad Jack Cafe

Hi All,
Hmm....had dinner at mad jack cafe last weekend. Well, the restaurant is as always, packed with hungry customers.
The prices are considered resonable as the food portion is rather huge. Few of us & we had the followings;

Their signature dish - Fish & Chips

Chicken Baked Rice
-Which i find so so only. Its not that fantastic. The baked rice at Swensen's
taste much more better.

Mushy Mushy - Its fresh button mushroom dipped in batter & deep fried till golden brown.

Different texture as the Breaded Mushroom that Black Angus serve. Definately i will prefer the ones at Black Angus. These kinda of deep fried mushroom muz eat while its hot, or else water will seep out from the mushrooms & wet the crispy texture outside.

Last but not least, the die die muz eat desserts. haha...

Do drop by to try their food, but remember to save space in your tummy for the fantastic desserts! :-)
