As sweet potatoes is the trend in our family now, i suggested to mum that we shall haf taiwan porridge for lunch today, its better than eating out. I cooked a few dishes to go with the porridge. Among all, i simply love the Pig Skin~~~Collagen u noe? haha....

If u r wondering that french beans dun go well with teriyaki sauce, den u r wrong. Initially i oso thought so, tt's y i'm searching for thai asparagus instead. Wow......i love the combination. I've got a pinky bracelet with bells where Aunty Sarah bought from 1 of the tribe gift shop when visiting them. Other than that, she got mi a classy black necklace, fragrance bubble bath & a busty chocolate.

These busty white chocolate are so cute & interesting.

Can be used to tease pple ya?! So funny...

Dinner @ Waruku De Pasta, Dessert Feast @ Nectarie & Clubbing @ Clinic

Had a fun & enjoyable time last evening. Tabby, Steph & I, other than meet up for dinner & some gossips, we went clubbing as well. haha....well, its quite a nice feeling, can destress at the same time.

We went for Waruku de pasta @ central. I'm famished even b4 we met up. As soon as we sat down, we ordered a few dishes as i wanna save some space in my tummy for dessert later on. I been telling the gals that i will be bringing down to Tampopo Deli for strawberry shorcake.

While waiting.......

Our soup of the day~Cream of corn & a side salad.

A mini potato salad which comes together for our set meal.

A platter consisting of hotate butter, korokoro tofu & fried chicken.

Soup pasta. Yes, i didn't get it wrong. Tis is indeed a soup pasta consisting of asparagus, bacon & yolk in creamy soup base.

Squid Ink Pasta~I been wanting to try tis but muz be very careful when eating, otherwise ur whole mouth will be stained with black ink.
Steph proudly showing off her stained lips. haha....

As the potato salad was simply too delicious & not satisfying to us, we place an order a bigger plate. Yummy....

Included in our platter set, a tiny piece of mango moose cake. As it was being freeze in the fridge, the frozen moose taste like mango ice cream.

Shiso umeshu soda~Steph specially ordered tis drink for mi.

And umeshu soda for herself & Tabby.

After diiner & shopping around, we decided to proceed to Tampopo Deli for desserts as planned. I'm disappointed as by time we reached, tampopo deli is closing for the day. Haiz...Oh come on, its onli 9.20pm ya. The nite is still young.
Steph suggested that we follow her, she will bring us to a nice place for dessert. After walking around, went in search for the place where steph highly recommend, we found the location but the shop already closed down. Haiz...another disappointment.
We decided to settle down in the next cafe we come across. Juz den we found Nectarie.
I ordered a Dark Chocolate Opera Cake.

Steph had a Caramelized Bananas with Chocolate.

Tabby had a Tiramisu.
Tabby enjoying her biscuit stick which was being serve with her tiramisu.
Oh my...still need to pose for a pic with the tiramisu.

Steph enjoying her cake.

My turn to show off my cake.
After dessert feast, we went to the bistro next to Nectarie to chill out. Of all places where Clinic? Cuz we were caught by the unique design of the bistro. The whole concept is clinic where all things are to link to wat u can find in a clinic or hospital.
Tabby is sitting on a wheelchair. Other than wheelchair, the lights at the bar counter is exactly the same as wat u find in an operation theatre.
We even saw other pple's drink being served in "blood pack" form, in glucose drip form whereby there's a tube connected for them to suck out the liquor. We dare not order such a big pack as i'm afraid that i will be knocked out.
I ordered a Lychee Martini.

& I'm enjoying it.

Steph enjoying her Chivas Green Tea.

Tabby had a volka 7 & she insist on taking a snap shot with all our drinks. Faint! haha...Overall Clinic is not bad, but i would say that they need to inprove on is their drink & services, attitude of the waitress is terrible.Whereas the cocktail is too diluted. I still prefer the bar & billard room at raffles hotel. Maybe that's our next gathering place ;P

Dinner @ Tung Lok Restaurant

In celebration of Tabby's b-day, i was being invited to her dinner at Tung Lok Restaurant at East Coast.
The food were fantastic but the travelling wise, er hmph.....haiz...We lost our way, from sengkang drove up to tampines, to pasir ris, to changi, to pasir ris again b4 we found our way to east coast. In short, it took us nearly an hour b4 we reach the restaurant.
We were starving by time we reached the restaurant. It was my 1st time at Tung Lok, food is not cheap. For the dishes we had, total bill comes up to $450++. WOW...

Fresh oysters~Natalie's favourite. Well, she onli eats salmon & oyster. Expensive taste ya! keke....

Pipa duck~Janurius's favourite.
When we lost our way earlier on, feeling so hungry, jan was boasting to us,trying to tempt us how delicious & yummy it was.
It was delicious indeed, but when u r feeling hungry & some pple are describing bout food to u, the feeling is so sickening rite? haha....
Spring onion flowers & cucumber flowers to be eaten together with the pipa duck.
Remaining portion of the pipa duck being serve with sauce.

Seasoned jelly fish & special tofu.
The tofu is being fried until crispy, drizzled with a braised dark soy sauce. Yummy...but it will taste better if the braised sauce has herbal taste.

B-day gal's alltime favourite~Wasabi mayo prawns.Sooo...delicious.

Fish maw soup~Initially i tot its being cooked in pumpkin broth, but after checking out with the waitress, the stock was being cook with fat hen & carrots, simmer over long hours b4 it reached tis colour.

Yam ring~b4 i could take a pic of it, the waitress already cut the ring up into pieces. If onli i could act faster. keke....

Cai poh steamed with ba ting fish~texture of the fish is soft & smooth, not much bones. Heard fm Aunty Rosa that the fish costs nearly $100. Wow...high grade fish ya.

Braised e-fu noodles with shredded duck~it goes great with green chili pickles. I love it.
Here's the best & my favourite part of the dinner~~~Dessert time. Yeah.....Whenever attenting a 8 course or 9 course dinner, i most look forward the the starter & dessert. haha....
Each of us get to choose different kind of dessert & i make it a point that b4 they eat muz let mi snap a pic of the food. Well, cuz i'm a food blogger.haha.....
Janurius's Lime shobert with lemon grass jelly

Most of us ordered Mango pudding, that includs tabby & I.

Melanie & Aunt Rosa's Peanut tang yuan.

Nicholas's Hrbal jelly with honey.
