WaffleTown + X'mas Lightings

Christmas is round the corner, too bad Santa claus is not coming to town. :-P Tab decided to bring Merrill to town so that he can catch a glimpse of tis yr's christmas lightings. We decided to drop by Waffletown for a quick bite after dropping aunty Margaret at St Regis for a wedding dinner.

Look at Merrill's blur face, guess he haven got an idea that we are bringing him out to enjoy.

We ordered a black pepper chicken chop

Fish & chips

A egg and bacon egg burger, erm....plus Merrill's little finger.

Say ahh....
After a delightful dinner, as we were bout to leave the place, Merrill caught attention on the christmas decorations in the building.

See, so happy to c all the lights...

Say cheese.... a nice photo of the Godma with godson.

In comparison, a giant x'mas tree and tiny Merrill.

I reach i reach i reach for a wishing star.

A shot of us inside the lift.
Get into the car & its time to start our X'mas lighting ride in Orchard rd.

Here we are at Orchard Ion.

Next, we are at Wisma.

A 360 degee turning giant santa claus figuring.

Next we went to Tanglin mall there were some display outside the mall. Too bad we missed the foaming or "snowing" session. Haiz... however, there were still plenty of pple around.

Ah ha, a candy house.

Another santa claus of the day.

Juz as we were bout to leave the place to pick aunty Margaret, we made a wrong turn into a lane and this nice scenario caught our attention. We wind down the windows and admire the sight while i was bz snapping photos.

Cool, there's even Nativity. The owner muz be filthy rich in order to set up the whole decoration!

Time to go home, its Aunty Margaret's turn to drive and we were all happily playing behind the car. See, Merrill is so happy with our fruitful trip.

Poor Merrill muz be feeling so tired that he dozed off in the car. :-)

Therefore, tis will be a lonely lonely christmas for mi. Nothing much for mi to look forward to. I didn't even haf any frens to join mi for christmas midnite mass, so i decided to give it a miss.

Luckily i suggested to mum & dad that i will be preparing a christmas feast at home & everyone is supposed to be back home for dinner in order to celebrate my favourite festive season with mi. Being a traditional toaist family, i'm surprise that dad actually agreed to my christmas family dinner celebration. Wow....its a great feast for all of us (except Jesper who is away on a 2 days chalet trip). Hope that with the begining of this 1st celebration, there will be more to come the next & the following more years to come.

Minestrone soup~erm i used canned soup to save the hassle. Taste not too bad after all!
Grilled hoisin honey porkchop with potato salad & baked beans for mum.

Roasted honey glazed chicken thigh with potato salad & green for Adam & I.

Grilled honey hoisin porkchop with rice & cauliflower for dad. Oh well, dad is someone who muz eat rice for his meals. haha....in the end i whip up a feast consisting of chicken & porkchop for our christmas eve dinner.

Not forgetting the Oven baked prawns.

And a sparkling apple juice to go with the dinner.
