Fried Sandwiched Tau Kee

I'm addicted to fried tau kee eversince our laksa steamboat dinner the day b4. Wow......fried tau kee taste best when being soak & boiled in laksa soup base. Yummy....but these deep fried version are great too, especially dipped with sweet thai chili sauce.

Ingredients;
Some tau kee sheets
Oil for deep frying

Fillings;
2 portion fish paste
1 portion minced pork
2 medium prawns, minced
3 water chestnuts, peel & chopped
2 baby carrots, finely chopped
1 stalk spring onion, chopped
1 tsp light soy sauce
Pinch of salt
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornflour

Method,
-Mix all ingredients for fillings together.
-Spread fillings on 1 sheet of tau kee, sandwiched with another piece.
-Cut tau kee into triangles.
-Deep fried in hot oil until golden brown.
-Enjoy!
