Wow......1 side is my favourite laksa base, the otherside is clear fish stock.

All these yong tau foo are hand-made by ms kina & i spent about 2hrs getting them ready.

Taman Sentosa Nite Market Makan Trip

Its already way pass dinner time but we need to rush to giant hypermart to get some groceries b4 it close for the day. We were juz in time to finish grocery shopping b4 1030pm. Now its time for dinner, well seems more like supper ya. haha....
We drove to the famous wanton mee stall but it's closed. The 2nd time we drove pass its juz opening for biz. But we were too hungry to wait therefore we decided on Tama sentosa nite market.

Our all time favourite~Sugar Cane Juice.

Salad Toutiao~a very common zhu chao dish where we always order.

Malaysia Style Hokkien Noodles~fantastic...especially when it was being fried with lots of lard.
Tis is uncle brandon's favourite. Since he's sick & was unable to join us for the trip, aunt rosa specially ordered take-away to bring back all the way from jb. So sweet ya, bet it taste exceptionally delicious! :-)

Meat Guotie~RM 7 cheap & gd. The guotie were wrapped & done on the spot, unlike those kind where some vendors use the frozen type to pan fry. It was tasty & the meat were very fresh.

Seng Steam Fish Restaurant

Tab, Aunt Rosa & I arranged to go into JB for a shopping & makan trip since Uncle Brandon wasn't feeling well to accompany Aunt Rosa to malaysia. Well, since its a all gals day, we simply enjoy ourselves in facial, eating & shopping!

Aunt Rosa brought us to a restaurant where tab & i haven been to. Seng Steam Fish Restaurant~~~operating hours is from 11am till 3pm, its onli open to entertain lunch crowd. I heard from aunt rosa that tis place is always packed and if u come late, most of the popular dish will be sold out.

Garlic chili with soy sauce as a dipping sauce for meal.

The famous Boneless Fried Fish.Meat is soft & tender, taste great with the sauce. There's another version of steamed fish where its very popular among the customers. I dun usually go for fish dishes when eating out as they are costly & normally wat we get are stale fish. Tis is great & we simply loved it.
Another famous dish~Steamed Cabbage. Well, its actually being stir fried, scoop into a bowl & steamed till soft & juicy.

Fried Ngo Hiang~its not too salty, very generous with the fillings, plenty of water chestnuts inside to give the juicy & crunchy texture.

Spinach Soup with Century Egg~~~yes, u didn't see wrongly & i didn't type wrongly. Century eggs are being added to the soup when cooking, that's y the soup is a bit dull in colour. There were some bits of eggs among the spinach.

Fried 4 beans~upon ordering, we were told that the dish consist of 4 different kind of beans (long beans, french beans, holland pea & lady's finger) However, upon serving, its actually lady's finger fried with french beans & crispy fish. Not too bad overall, taste great with a mild spicy touch.

A home-made barley drink for all of us after the meal.

Dinner @ Macua Express (JB)

Aunt Rose had been very "on" with our frequent trips to JB recently. Tab, Grace & I picked her up from her house at bout 6pm last evening. By time we clear malaysia custom its only about 6.35pm. Seeing that its still early, tabby suggested bring Grace & Aunt Rose to Tebrau City since they hasn't been there b4.
We shopped around for a while b4 we decided to settle at Macau Express for dinner. 4 of us order 2 sets of main course with some portuguese egg tarts to share.
Half roasted chicken in portuguese style, served with coleslaw & either bread, rice or noodles. I choose noodles & i already tried the bread in other outlet b4. The brown sauce here tends to be saltier, but the overall is not too bad.

Iced yuan yang & diet coke for us.

The famous Portuguese egg tarts~~~crispy & flakey tart shell with soft & smooth custard egg fillings inside. They r so yummy...

Lunch @ Miss Clarity Cafe

Well, i dun care as long as my pocket is not burned. I left my previous company & now i'm still looking for a job, soo.... i muz be more thrifty. But since tab has been driving mi around to run errands since morning till 2pm, we decided to have something gd to reward ourselves.

Dinner @ Empire State

After attending a course preview at national library last evening, tabby & i decided to grab a bite at Illuma. As we walk right up to the 4th level, right in our eyes are a stretch of restaurants & cafes.

Empire State caught our eyes due to the cosy atmosphere it has & the super friendly services provided by the waitress at the door.

The place was nicely done up with lots of monkey decos. I believer its the mascot of the restaurant.Even the menu has the mascot pic.

A free soup with any main course ordered. We had a Butternut Squash with Sweet Potato.
Some Flavoured Fries with Toppings.

A Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacons & Mushrooms.
The food were so yummy that we were so full that there's no room in our tummy for any desserts.I swear that i will make it a point to go back to empire state another day to try their other delights like pizza, roast chicken & desserts.

Enjoying JB

Tabby knew i been feeling down recently & she planned a full day shopping & eating fun trip in JB. I been facing so many problems at work recently, tab says if i dun go out to relax & enjoy, sooner or later i will be down with depression. She's be telling mi not to be affected by others, do not let other ruin my mood.

We intend to go for so many things in 1 day, wanna do hair, watch movies, sing k, eat at different places, enjoying coffee in cafe, shopping for clothes, do manicure etc....Well, shall see how much of those listed we can complete.

Our 1st stop~Soon Huat Bak Kut Teh.

Our fine spread consisting of bak kut teh, ginger chicken with chinese wine, cai buay, fried doughstick & american ginseng crysanthemun tea.

After our brunch, we drove back towards city square to do our hair.

Taking some photos while waiting for the traffic lights to turn green.

After a few shots, traffic is still red. Well, nvm we can take more pictures of our hair b4 done up.

Checking out on our REDS appointment card b4 we reach the salon in city square.

Oh Tabitha had already used up 3 courses.

Finally we are here, the boss even came out to welcome.

I'm enjoying myself in a high class salon.

Home-made jackfruit ice-cream prepared specially by boss of REDS. Its delicious....tis is the 1st time i'm eating jackfruit ice-cream.

Ta rannnn .....our new haircut. Come on, strike a pose!

After our hairdo @ city square, we proceed to Tebrau City to enjoy our shopping.

Parking is so cheap, onli RM 1.

After shopping around for hours, we were so tired that we need to have a rest in a cafe. Browsing on the menu, can't decide wat to eat.

Tabby finds it boring while waiting for mi to decide wat to order. Hey ekina, look here & say cheese.

While waiting for the food to arrive.........

Our favourite~ Mocha glaciers.

Tabby enjoying the mocha glacier juz like how we had it in bangkok the 1st time.

Hmm...i'm loving it.

Another of our favourite~American club sandwich.
Erm...not too bad, but still can't be compared to club sandwich which we had in bangkok.

Had a sudden craving for spaghetti, i ordered a Stir fried minced chicken spaghetti with hot basil. Oh, its so thai style.

After our meals, we continue our shopping in jusco. Wow...its gonna be christmas soon. See my elf's hat!

And tabby's santa hat.

Say cheese......
Gals are afterall gals, we carried on shopping for a few more hrs buying lots of stuffs & clothes.

After which we proceed to the chinese physican who saved us. I did acupuncture for my knee problem whereas tabby done acupuncture for sliming.

And some traditional chinese medicine for mi.

Oh ya, i bought a loaf of chocolate raisin bread from jusco earlier on. Rem...its a new product ya cuz its the 1st time i seen it.
