Seng Steam Fish Restaurant

Tab, Aunt Rosa & I arranged to go into JB for a shopping & makan trip since Uncle Brandon wasn't feeling well to accompany Aunt Rosa to malaysia. Well, since its a all gals day, we simply enjoy ourselves in facial, eating & shopping!

Aunt Rosa brought us to a restaurant where tab & i haven been to. Seng Steam Fish Restaurant~~~operating hours is from 11am till 3pm, its onli open to entertain lunch crowd. I heard from aunt rosa that tis place is always packed and if u come late, most of the popular dish will be sold out.

Garlic chili with soy sauce as a dipping sauce for meal.

The famous Boneless Fried Fish.Meat is soft & tender, taste great with the sauce. There's another version of steamed fish where its very popular among the customers. I dun usually go for fish dishes when eating out as they are costly & normally wat we get are stale fish. Tis is great & we simply loved it.
Another famous dish~Steamed Cabbage. Well, its actually being stir fried, scoop into a bowl & steamed till soft & juicy.

Fried Ngo Hiang~its not too salty, very generous with the fillings, plenty of water chestnuts inside to give the juicy & crunchy texture.

Spinach Soup with Century Egg~~~yes, u didn't see wrongly & i didn't type wrongly. Century eggs are being added to the soup when cooking, that's y the soup is a bit dull in colour. There were some bits of eggs among the spinach.

Fried 4 beans~upon ordering, we were told that the dish consist of 4 different kind of beans (long beans, french beans, holland pea & lady's finger) However, upon serving, its actually lady's finger fried with french beans & crispy fish. Not too bad overall, taste great with a mild spicy touch.

A home-made barley drink for all of us after the meal.
