Sweet & Spicy Egg Burger

We had sweet & sour pork for dinner last nite.Normally mum would cook extra sauce & place it in another bowl juz in case Jesper finds it too dry.
Since there's extra sauce, i use them to make a sweet & spicy egg burger for breakfast this morning.

This is easy....simply prepare some burger buns, egg omelette with onions, slices of ham, cheese, some lettuce, sweet & sour sauce & some sambal chili paste.

Bring the sauce to boil, add some sambal chili paste to it. U may add more if u prefer it to be spicier.

Assemble the burger, top with lettuce, egg omelette, spread sweet & spicy sauce over, add some ham & chesse.

Its sooo..... Yummy! Omelette goes well with sweet & spicy sauce.U can choose to omit ham & chesse, but i find that it adds a different touch to the burger & the overall result is delicious! :-)

Dinner @ Teochew City Restaurant

My company CNY "heng gang"dinner was held at Teochew City Restaurant at center point last evening.
Wow... tis dinner is fantastic, every dish is so yummy. I ate so much that i need to go for a walk after dinner in order to digest the food b4 sleeping time. keke....

Everytime in between christmas time to cny, it will be a time for big feast. There's always so many dinner invitations. Well, its also a time to get FAT! haha...better watch wat to eat!
But i will always tell myself its a once a year event, nvm. Eat 1st den decide how to burn all the fats & calories later! heehee...
Well, isn't that wat all women do? Especially those who couldn't resist yummy food temptations juz like mi! :-P

This Fa Cai Yu Sheng is something different from wat we normally eat. Its served with a special sauce which a mild touch of wasabi.

The yu sheng other than being served with raw fish, we oso had baby abalone! Wow...yummy!

This Shark's Fin Soup is my favourite dish of the nite.
Its very very much different in the texture as compared to those crabmeat shark's fin we normally eat outside.
The soup is thick & smooth, with pieces of fins which are being stewed to the correct softness. With the beansprouts, it adds a crunch to the whole dish.Hmm......lovely! I'm loving it!

With my eating style of adding pickled green chili to the dish, yum yum!Its........(dear readers,i wont make u all drool, guess u all can imagine how fantastic it taste rite?)

Something light & healthy~Asparagus with Scallops & Assorted Mushrooms.
Another yummy dish loved by elderly & kids~Golden Shrimp Balls! Erm....its oso my favourite! haha.....

Teochew Style Steamed Promfet. Well, its a muz haf especially for cny as it signifies "nian nian you yu"

Salted Chicken~something different to those normal crispy roasted chicken where we normally eat. In fact this is the 1st time i had salted chicken from teochew city.
The meat is juicy & tender. Though its called salted chicken, its not salty to the extend where after eating u will feel very thirsty & drinks plenty of water. With the spring onions & ginger added, its adds a frangrance to the dish as well.
Oh goodness gracious! This 盆菜is so extravagant with all the expensive ingredients. This is the 1st time i ate 盆菜& i heard this is a cny dish.

Look at all the stuff they had inside~sea cucumber, abalone, dried scallop, meat, dried shrimps, veggie.....etc!
With all these ingredients being cooked together, the stewed juice is lovely. We are being served with ramen & gosh, its goes perfectly well together. Reali a heavenly match for 盆菜 & ramen.
Time foe dessert! We had honeydew sago & they used rock melon for this dessert.Actually i'm not a fan of honeydew.I onli took 1-2 mouthful & tt's it.
After dessert was fruits! The mango is sweet & juicy!

After all the sinful, high fats & high cholesterol food we ate, the restaurant served us Kung Fu Tea. Its actually chinese tea which is "super thick".

Wah....wat an enjoyable dinner, thumbs up everyone! :-)
