Stuffed Brown Rice Pillows

Since the hawker centre near my office is closed for renovations, guess i gotto come up with lunch ideas so that i can bring bento to work. I made some stuffed brown rice pillows for dinner last nite and keep the rest in the fridge, its a gd lunch idea.

Ingredients;
Beancurd puffs
Hot water
Pinch of salt
1 tsp light soy sauce
1/3 tsp sugar

Fillings;
Some cooked brown rice
A veggie dish (i used stir fry cauliflower with carrots)
A meat dish (i used stir fry lean meat)
Some gravy from veggie
1 tsp home-made chili paste
Some roasted sesame seeds

Method;
-Rinse beancurd puffs in water, squeeze out to remove oil.
-Boil beancurd puffs in hot water, add soy sauce, salt and sugar.
-Continue to boil for 8-10mins.
-Let cool & drained.
-For preparations of fillings, cut veggie into small pieces, cut lean meat into thin strips.
-Mix all the ingredients for fillings together.
-Cut an opening on the beancurd puff, stuff them with fillings.
-Serve & enjoy.

A closer view of the pillows.... I even made some extras where i can kept overnite so that i can bring to work for my lunch. Juz need to steam for 5 mins in the morning, packed in my lunchbox and off i go! (",)
