I totally forgot that I was steaming the siew mais in the presure cooker until it was 40 mins later......luckily the chicken doen't taste too tough, onli the toppings looks off colour after being steamed for too long. Argh...doesn't reali matter cuz i didn't make too huge portion, onli few miserable pieces and i didn't get to eat them cuz i'm on diet, dun wanna eat too much.
Ingredients;
Round shape wanton skin
2 fillet of chicken breast, minced
1 large carrots, chopped
2 water chestnut, chopped
2 large dried mushroom, soaked and chopped
1 egg white
Light soy sauce
Baking soda
Salt
Corriander powder
Pepper
Sesame oil
Toppings;
Chopped carrots
Chopped mushrooms
Chopped hams
Chopped beans
Method;
-Marinate the fillings for at least 3 hrs.
-Wrap the fillings, top with assorted fillings and steam for 15 mins.
-Enjoy!
*Note that mushroom gotto pan fry with little bit of oil to release the frangrance b4 steaming.
