A big pot of spare-ribs soup with corn & carrots is being simmered over the stove. I couldn't resist temptations and decided to cook some noodles for lunch using the stock. The so called 5 flavours are fuzhou fishballs, meatballs, pork ribs, pig skin and seafood stick. Complete the noodle dish with some greens.
Ingredients;
1 bunch mee kia (hand-made egg noodle)
Fu-zhou fishballs
Meatballs
Spare-ribs
Pig skin
Seafood stick
Chye sim
Beansprouts
Sauce;
Chili sauce
Oyster sauce
Dark soy sauce
Shallots oil
Stock
Method;
-Boil chye sim, beansprouts, seafood stick, fuzhou fishballs & meatballs.
-Combine sauce in a plate.
-Blanch noodles in hot water, soak in ice bath den back to boiling water. Drained.
-Toss noodles in sauce.
-Serve with the 5 flavours.
-Enjoy!
