Spicy Stir-fry Radish

Radish which is also known as white carrot has a cooling effect & reduces heatiness. For white radish, they are usually cooked in soup or make into radish cake.
I decided to do a daring try by stir frying them with spicy sauce, the finished product turns out great. It reali goes well with plain rice, Adam was surprise that i could make something so delicious out from a plain & tasteless radish.

Ingredients;
350g radish, shred
3 black fungus, soak & shred
2 clove garlic, minced
10g dried shrimps
1 tbsp hei bee hiam
Oil for frying

Sauce;
2½ tsp sambal chili paste
1½ tsp oyster sauce
½ tsp sugar
1-2 drops dark soy sauce
2 tbsp dried shrimp stock
50ml water

Method;
-Fry garlic & dried shrimps in oil till fragrant.
-Add radish, fry till radish soften b4 adding in black fungus..
-Stir in sauce & hei bee hiam, mix well.
-Add water, cover & simmer for 5 mins.
-Garnish & serve.
-Enjoy!
