金银苋菜

Whenever i walked pass the zhu chao stall at the coffeeshop near my office, I will always focus on the poster of the trio egg spinach. Immediately, i have lots of thinking and ideas running in my mind on how to change the recipe according to my preference.

1stly, i'm not a fan of salted egg, 2nd, if i'm gonna use 3 kinds of egg in a single dish, i'm afraid the calories and cholesterol intake will exceed. Therefore, decided to add some omega 3 into the dish.

Ingredients:
1 bunch 苋菜
1 century egg, cut into pieces
1 handful silver fish
1 clove garlic, minced
Stock or water
Pinch of salt
Oil for frying

Method;
-Fry garlic in oil till fragrant, add silver fish and fry for a min.
-Toss in 苋菜, fry till soften.
-Season to taste, add stock and bring to boil.
-Add century egg and simmer for 3 mins.
-Serve & enjoy!

Hey, these beautiful prints resembles small flowers ya? Until today den i realise that almost every century egg has these 'small flowers'. Cool!
