芝麻三宝油条

Instead of the normal salad youtiao which contains squid paste on the doughstick, i prefer to use a different version of fillings.
Reasons being: 1) Mum is allergic to squid 2) I wanna prepare something unique where i cannot find outside.

Ingredients;
Fried doughstick
Sesame seeds
Oil for frying
Garnishes: shredded carrot & coriander

Fillings;
Minced meat
Minced prawns
Water chestnut, chopped
Light soy sauce
Salt
Sesame oil
Egg white
-Mix well and set in fridge to marinate for at least 1 hr.

Mayo dip;
2 tsp low fat mayo
1 tsp condensed milk
1/2 tsp salad cream
Juice of 1 small lime
-Mix well and serve as dipping sauce.

Method;
-Cut doughstick into 1/2, spread fillings onto doughstick.
-Coat with sesame seeds and pan fry till golden brown.
-Cut into sections, garnish and serve with mayo dip.
-Enjoy!

Wow... taste better than salad youtiao! There's springy texture from the prawns, chewy texture from the fats of minced meat and the crunchiness from the water chestnut. Hmm... I'm loving it!
