Hungarian Peach Cake

I baked my mum's favourite Hungarian Peach Cake for her birthday over the weekends. It's a b-day treat for her!

I made a tray of miniature peach cakes.

A whole squarish piece b4 cutting

This is a 8" round Hungarian Peach Cake.

Ingredients;
300g cake flour
300g unsalted butter
200g brown sugar
100g fine sugar
2 tsp baking powder
5 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 can peach slices
Icing sugar

Method;
-Cream fats till fluffy, add in sugar beat till ribbon stage
-Add eggs 1 @ a time, beat in vanilla essence
-Fold in sifted flour & baking powder into the mixture
-Pour half batter into cake tin, top with some peach slices
-Pour in remaining batter, arrange peach slices neatly on top
-Bake in preheated oven at 180˚C for 45-50 mins or until cooked
-Enjoy!
