Crispy Prawns

My mum prefers fried prawns as compared to steamed or boiled. I beg to differ. If the prawns is reali reali fresh, it will be quite wasted if u deep fried them.Isn't that so?!

Ingredients;
20 big prawns
4 tbsp self raising flour
1 tbsp potato starch
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
Water to mix batter
Oil for deep frying

Method;
-Remove shell & veins from prawns.
-Wash thoroughly with salt.
-Mix flour, salt, egg & water together to a thick batter.
-Heat oil, dip prawns into batter den into hot oil.
-Deep fried them till golden brown.
-Serve with dipping sauce.
