Red Bean Soup With Sweetened Yam Tang Yuan

Sooner or later, I will either put on lots of weight & grow fat or die of proteins. Haha... There's only 1 main reason for this & it is due to our dessert after dinner these days. The trend of red bean soup is on.
Everyday there will be a change but the main ingredients is still red beans. 1st day, it is plain red bean soup, the day after it is red bean soup with lotus seeds, the neaxt is with lily bulb, after that it is with orange peel, den back to plain red bean soup. I need a change, I added in some cooked some tang yang for a change. There it is, with a twist of a new dessert. :-P

Ingredients;
Yam tang yuan, boiled & drained
Red beans
Screwpine leaves, knotted
Rock Sugar
Water

Method;
-Wash & clean red beans, soak for an hour.
-Add boiling water & screwpine leaves to red bean.
-Cook in presure cooker till done.
-Serve hot with boiled tang yuan

Ingredients for yam tang yuan;
Skin:
-Glutinous rice flour
-Purple colouring
-Mashed yam
-Water

Fillings:
-Yam, slices, steamed & mashed
-Icing sugar

Method;
-Knead fillings ingredients till soft dough form, divide into small balls and set aside for later use.
-Knead skin ingredients till soft dough form, roll into 1.5 inch size & srap with fillings.
-Bring to boil till cooked.

*In order to save hassle, u can choose to purchase the ready made tang yuan from supermarket.
