东坡肉

I was at the market with Dad this morning when he suddenly requested for 东坡肉. Know what's the main reason behind it? Cuz Dad saw a super fat pork belly in the butcher's fridge. Oh well, since he already went ahead and place order, i have no choice but to cook this 'sinful' dish for our family.
Erm... when Adam came to know that i will be cooking 东坡肉 for dinner and he's gonna missed dinner as he will be out to watch floorball match, he had since been making so much noise & use issues to blackmail me in exchange for 2 pieces of fat meat! Haiz....


Ingredients;
Pork belly with thick fats
Water
Star anise
Cinnamon stick
Rock sugar
Sugar
Salt
Dark Soy sauce
Light Soy sauce
Oyster sauce
Ginger
Spring onions

Method;
-Cut pork belly into thick cubes.
-Pan fry with ginger till golden brown to remove excess fats.
-Bring the remaining ingredients to boil in a pot.
-Add in pork belly & cook in a presure cooker till soft.
-Remove from cooker when done.
-Thicken the sauce and serve with greens.
-Enjoy!
