How do i get rid of the remaining few slices of bread on the table? Its near dinner time, no tummy for any sandwiches now. Wat to do? Well, its not an issue when i have prawns in the fridge.
Finger food is always the 1st to finish especially when its deep fried. Non healthy junk food is always the best for kids or teenagers. Especially Adam, despite the few pimples which r popping out on his face, he helped himself with the toast. Giving execuses tt he will drink plenty of herbal tea after that.
Ingredients;
4 slices of bread
1 stalk green onion, chopped
Roasted sesame seeds
Oil for shallow frying
Fillings;
12 large prawns
1 clove garlic
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp light soy sauce
Pinch of salt
Pinch of sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
Method;
-Blend ingredients for fillings into a smooth paste.
-Fold in green onions.
-Remove crust from bread, cut into 4 triangles.
-Spread prawn paste onto bread slice, sprinkle sesame seeds over.
-Shallow fry till golden brown.
-Drained & serve.
-Enjoy!
*Alternately; for a healthier version, bake prawn toast in an oven till crispy & brown.
