Carrot Potato with Spare-ribs Soup

Came across a heading which i saw on an issue of "Mind Your Body" sometimes back.
It goes like this " clear soup are better than cream soup" A thought suddenly flash my mind....hey, its time for clear soup ya! :-)

I love carrots, but its onli in the recent yrs. When i was younger, i hate the taste & the smell of it.Not now anymore! Be it carrot ham, raw carrot sticks, stir fry carrots with veggie etc... aye, i got an idea! Carrots in clear soup! yummy.....

Ingredients;
1 carrot, thickly sliced
2 medium potatoes, wedged
3 clove garlic, with skin attached
250g spare-ribs
Salt to taste
¾ pot boiling water

Method;
-Wash clean spare-ribs, trim off excess fats.
-Boil ribs & garlic in pot of water for about 40 mins.
-Add carrots & potatoes, bring to full boil.
-Lower heat simmer for another 30 mins until ribs are soft & tender,potatoes & carrots not too soft.
-Season with salt.
-Enjoy!
