A bunch of goodies with auspicious meaning for a lucky new year! Yes, it is Chinese's custom to have goodies or food stuff which relates to auspicious names or meaning especially during Chinese New Year.
Usually, i would prepare a bunch of leek and a bunch of bananas to stand throughout the new year. However, i "doll" them up for this year.
蒜=算
means have loads and loads of money to count!
香蕉 = kin jio (banana in hokkien), meant to jio zai (财)
muz have pleanty of luck in the new year!
Something new for hamper design this year! Instead of the traditional pyramid hamper for Chinese New Year, here's a hamper in a giant pineapple basket. Huat ah....................
