糖醋排骨

Fresh ribs from the market this morning & here comes my 糖醋排骨! :-)

Ingredients;
500g prime ribs
1 tbsp light soy
1 tbsp sesame oil
Dash of pepper
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp corn flour
1 large onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 chili padi, chopped
Oil for deep frying

Sauce;
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp vinegar
½ tbsp sugar
2 tbsp water

Method;
-Marinade prime ribs with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt & pepper.
-Set aside in fridge for at least 3hrs or best, overnite.
-Drain marinate, coat ribs with corn flour.
-Deep fried till golden brown, drained on kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
-Fry chopped garlic & chili padi in ½ tbsp oil till fragrant, add onion slices.
-Add in sauce, mixed well.
-Toss in ready fried ribs to ensure that they are evenly coated
-Serve with rice..
-Enjoy!
