Since my mee hoon kway post, seems like i love to play with dough! haha.... made some 葱油饼 for mum & adam the other day.
Ingredients;
250g plain flour
100ml boiling water
1 egg
40ml cold water
4 stalks green onions, chopped
1-2 tbsp corn oil
Salt
Method;
-Pour hot water into sifted flour, mixed well, add in cold water & egg.
-Mix well till dough form.
-Knead the dough, add more water if dough is too dry.
-Divide dough into small balls of 35g each.
-Roll balls & flatten with rolling pin, brush with corn oil, sprinkle with salt & chopped onions.
-Roll up, slightly flatten & roll up like swiss roll.
-Flatten the spiral dough.
-Pan fry till golden brown on both sides.
-Enjoy!
