冬至汤圆

Today is 冬至, an occassion where family get together & eat 汤圆.I woke up very early this morning to help prepare 汤圆 for prayers & offerings.
Simple ingredients needed;
-Glutinous rice balls
-Pandan Leaves
-Sugar
-Brown sugar

Initially i wanted to cook without adding brown sugar, so that the colour will look nicer.Imagine, white & pink glutinous rice balls! Wow...But mum say since its meant for offerings, muz add the colour colour sugar to make the syrup look orangey.
