Been working under stress recently. Didn't reali have a chance to pamper my skin. Dark circles been appearing under my eyes. I desperately needs some help.
Below are a few simple home remedies which i found on website.Used myself as the guinea pig,It sure works!
1. Water intake is very important as it helps to flush out the toxin build-up.
2. Massage the area with pure almond oil.
3. Apply cold raw grated potato mixed with the juice of half lemon around the eye area. Leave on for about 20 minutes and wash off with cold milk.
4. Slices of cool cucumber are also very good as they not only soothe tired eyes but also have a natural bleaching effect on that area.
5. Two teaspoons almonds ground to a fine paste and mixed with 10 drops of lemon juice can be applied to the skin around the eyes.
6. Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes.
7. Cut two slices of apple and keep them on your closed eyelids forabout ten minutes.
8. Dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes.
9. Apply 1/2 a teaspoon of almond oil with 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice.
10.Use a sunscreen especially made for the face with a sun protection factor (SPF) of preferably 20, to keep the sun's rays from darkening the skin under your eyes.
11.Close your eyes and cover them with a cold washcloth for about five minutes, several times throughout the day. That will help constrict your blood vessels, minimizing darkness, and it may help minimize tissue swelling and eliminate some of the darkness.
12.Mix one teaspoon flour, one teaspoon milk, a pinch of sugar, 1/4 spoon honey and squeeze half lemon juice. Apply it on face and remove after 10 to 15 minutes.
13.Be sure you have 8 hours of sleep.
14.Include a multivitamin with iron tablet in your diet. Eat at least one green leafy vegetable a day.
15.Use sunglasses when going out in sun to protect the eyes from the harmful rays.
16.Application of cream with vitamin E and C also helps in reducing the dark circles.
17.Eat vegetables and fruits that are rich in vitamin E. Dip cotton balls in rose water or chilled water and keep for 5-10 minutes.
