The Jungle Tandoor Restaurant

Tab brought me to a very special theme restaurant in little india to chill out last nite and we stayed till 2am.

A giant elephant sculpture outside the restaurant...

The signboard

With Singapore's significant 'Merlion'

Tarzan and the other animals

Isn't it cool?

Even giraffe! I bet the owner invested alot in the decorations.

Time to place our order!

A super super spicy chicken dish! But according to the waiter, this is only considered 'mild' and not spicy! Faint........

Our favourite butter naan and tandoori bread...

After we finished our food, we sat outside the restaurant next to the man-made water fountain to chill out :-P A very special place indeed!

Late Nite Supper @ Thasevi Food

I had an early dinner and after some shopping with Tab, we were feeling hungry again. We have craving for prata and decided to drop by Jalan Kaya for the famous roti prata.

The place is packed with people despite the late hours. Seems like it's reali Singaporean's habit to eat suppers.

Here's the namecard with....

The menu behind.

Our teh halia

Overall verdict: standard dropped and the food is getting more and more expensive.
