Onion Fritters
I had a bad habit recently which is to eat some snacks just before dinner. Oh well, i can take it as an appetizer or side snack! Lolz... I know that eating any snacks b4 dinner will ruin my appetite during meal time but i dun care, aren't crispy snacks supposed to be eaten while they are crispy and hot?! :-P It is the fact and also an excuse for me to munch and nibble on snacks.
Ingredients;Self raising flourWaterLarge onion, dicedScallions, choppedDried shrimp, pound and toastedOil for deep fryingPinch of saltMethod;-Prepare batter by mixing flour, salt & water together.-Add dried shrimps, scallions & onions.-Mix well and let batter sit for 30-45mins.-Drop teaspoonful of batter into hot oil and fry till golden brown.-Serve with chili dips.-Enjoy!
