A "copy cat" version of fried carrot cake. Yam cake was used to replace carrot cake. Y choose yam cake? Cuz it has more ingredients inside the kueh as compared to plain carrot cake.
Ingredients;
1/2 block steamed yam kueh
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tsp chili sauce
1/2 tsp sweet sauce
Pinch of sugar
1 beaten egg
Some scallion
Some roasted sesame seeds
Oil for frying
Method;
-Mix sauce together, set aside.
-Cut yam kueh into bite sizes.
-Heat some oil in wok, scrambled eggs & push to side of wok.
-Fry yam kueh with sauce, mix well with egg & serve.
-Garnish with scallions & roasted sesame seeds.
-Enjoy!
