We normally buy the noodle from market & cook on our own. Oh well, it is my grandma's favourite noodle. In fact i was being 1st introduced to this egg noodle b4 those mee kia or yellow noodle when i was a child.
1 bunch egg noodles
Some roasted pork
Some black fungus, shredded
Some toasted dried shrimps
1 egg
Shallots' oil
Stock
Sweet dark sauce
Thick dark soy sauce
Garnish:
Chopped cilantro & scallion
Homemade sambal chili paste
Few drops black vinegar
Fried shallots
Method;
-Boil dried shrimps in stock, add noodles.
-Stir in roasted pork & black fungus.
-Once noodles in almost, add in some soy sauce as colouring to the dish.
-Break an egg, give it a quick stir & off heat.
-Serve with garnish, enjoy!
