I got the inspiration of tis yummy dish from korean food bibimbap. Went for korean food with my colleagues the other day during lunch & i fell in love with the spicy chicken. It's actually quite easy to prepare, juz need to stir fry meat with a speciality saucev & the final result will resemble those hotplate meat but with less gravy.
Thus, i decided to give it a try by creating my own version & if it turn out well, probably next weekend i can cook my own bibimbap. The taste of the dish gave me a "WOW" effect.
Ingredients;
200g lean meat, thinly sliced
1/8 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cornflour
2 clove garlic, minced
Some shredded spring onions for garnishing
Some roasted white sesame seeds
Oil for frying
Sauce;
1 tsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
3/4 tsp dark soy sauce
1-2 drops sweet sauce
Pinch of salt
3/4 tsp homemade chili paste
Method;
-Marinate meat slices with baking soda, set aside for 30mins.
-Toss in cornflour 10mins b4 cooking.
-Heat some oil in a wok, fry farlic till lightly browned.
-Stir in meat slices until change colour.
-Stir in sauce & fry till meat cook & sauce dries up.
-Sprinkle sesame seeds & green onion over.
-Enjoy!
