It's s late and i've yet to have my dinner! so poor thing ya? Yes, indeed as I worked in the office till 8.30 pm before making my way down to Mustafa. Well, Tab had her lessons too and will be ending at 9pm. Hence, decided to meet up for a chill out supper at the newly open rooftop bistro.

Woah... we had a fun time chilling out and the bisro closes at 2am, after which we can still shop around for a few hours before going home. It's so good to open for 24hrs....
1 portion of braised meat was left on the table and mum has been asking us to finish off since lunch time today. No action was done and since Adam is feeling hungry, I decided to make him a noodle dish using the braised meat.
Ingredients; 1 pc dried vegetarian noodles, blanched and drained 1 handful of beansprouts, blanched and drained Braised meat Dark say sauce and meat gravy Oyster sauce Home-made chili paste Spring onions, chopped
Method; -Mixed the sauces together, toss well with noodles and beansprouts. -Serve noodles with braised meat, garnish and serve. -Enjoy!
A new brand of drinks in town and i was being recommended by Jesper. He tried the grass jelly flavour however his fren told him the best is still ice jelly flavour. Oh well, since so many recommendation about this brand of drink, i decided to check it out.
Despite running round 2 to 3 supermarkets near my office and my house, I still din manage to come across the ice jelly flavour. Finally, I found it in Little India. Yes! :-) taste refreshing and great, it taste even better when I added some sweetened iced green tea to it.
I made some golden puffs for aunty sarah's family last week and i was being reminded by mum of the yummy~licious puffs. Mum had a sudden craving for fried food today and requested for golden puffs.. I wonder how would the puffs taste if i uses 2 different kinds of onions, hence i decided to try it out.
Ingredients; Self raising flour 1 red onion, chopped i white onion, chopped 2 baby carrots, shred 2 crabmeat stick, chopped Pinch of salt Water Fried shallots 1-2 drops of canola oil
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Method; -Prepare a thick batter by mixing flour, salt and water together. -Add the remaining ingredients and mix until incorporated. -Drop spoonful by spoonful of mixture into hotoil and deep fried till golden brown. -Drained and serve. -Enjoy!
With my favourite white onions and red onions chunks! Sooo... delicious! :-)
This unique flavour of collon caught my attention when I was shopping in Bugis the other day. Collon is 1 of my favourite childhood biscuit snack and I usually buy the chocolate flavour (among strawberry, chocolate and vanilla).
Sometimes i do wonder, wouldn't it be better if they are other unique flavours like cappuccino, matcha cream or ca blueberry cheesecake flavour.
And finally, something unique appears. Though it's not blueberry chessecake, mixed berry cheesecake flavour is great! It isn't too sweet and i simply love it. Oh well, I'm beginning to regret that I should have bought more instead. :-(
Wat's for dessert after a hearty meal? Well, i walked around the mall in search for something unique. I've read about Ooki Taiyaki the nite before and so glad that I found it in Nex.
Cool, i managed to bought the last red bean paste flavour.
And it's in a shape of fish! The red beans are mushy and not too sweet, blend in juz nice with the crispy batter. :-) I'm gonna try their other flavours next time round.
Been hearing so much positive comments on texas chicken and finally I get a chance to savor them. They are indeed better than kfc, at least they dun have the funny 'stale oil' smell. Erm, the impression which they gave me is some sort of popeye chicken alike as they also have the bread/biscuit.
Here's our family feast!
Original flavour...
Hot and spicy... to me, they are super spicy and i need more than 1 serving of drinks. lolz... well, at least their biscuit taste much more better than popeyes'.
Giant coleslaw and bid fries! I'm gonna try their burgers on my next visit as 1 of the burger posters makes it looks so tempting!
